Services available
We offer research services and facilities to clients outside of CSM. In the case of commercial clients we provide our services at nominal fees.
Services, which can be obtained on a contractual basis, include full scale research projects involving one or more senior staff members as well as rental of our advanced equipment on an hourly basis. Our staff members have different areas of expertise, which can be combined to provide clients with a powerful partner in their research projects.
Simpler projects could be short term use of our advanced equipment, in particular our advanced microscopy facility and cytometry unit. See details in the menu "Resources." These projects would be carried out on-site by a trained operator or by certified trained personnel chosen by the client.
Confidentiality
All contract research projects include written non-disclosure agreements between the parties if required by clients. All such agreements are verified by the legal department of DTU and ensure the rights of the involved parties to obtained results and also that future patent possibilities are not jeopardized.
Prices
Charges are based on DTU's guidelines for external consulting services excluding additional material costs, such as machine rental fees.
Non-contractual or collaborative research
Research in collaboration with external partners is either entirely on a commercial basis or carried out in a non-commercial or semi-commercial context. In which case no or reduced fees will be incurred, except material costs or other expenses related to the project. Publications will include CSM and intellectual properties will be divided between CSM and the external partner.
